1.  Find a lab that matches your interest and research

2.  Locate a lab mentor who is interested in hosting your research and in conjunction develop suitable research proposal  (required)

3.  Gather all required information from your institution:

      a. Statement from academic institution which verifies approval for sabbatical leave including dates

      b. Statement from academic institution regarding base salary and the percentage of salary provided by the home institution while on sabbatical leave.

4.  Create an applicant account and wait for verification email.

5.  Login to the online application and complete all applicable information.

6.  Upload supplemental information.

7.  Submit your application six months prior to intended start.

8.  Reach out to the lab mentor and let them know that your application was submitted
